Established in 2025, 092 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy operates in Midland, Texas, serving the martial arts community across West Texas. The academy name pays homage to the 092 telephone area code of Manaus, Brazil, where co-owner and head instructor Felipe Ferreira began his martial arts training as a youth. The academy is owned and directed by head black belt instructors Emily Ferreira and Felipe Ferreira. Emily brings over eleven years of dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training to the mat, and both instructors structure sessions with an emphasis on discipline, self-defense mechanics, and competition preparation. Training schedules accommodate both children and adults across beginner and advanced levels, with curriculum tracks provided in both gi and no-gi formats.
