10th Planet Fort Worth Jiu Jitsu

Located at 5364 Wedgmont Circle North in Fort Worth, Texas, 10th Planet Fort Worth opened in January 2023 under official sanction from system founder Eddie Bravo. The academy operates under head coach Douglas Frey, who began amateur wrestling in 1997 before transitioning to mixed martial arts and jiu-jitsu in 2005. Douglas Frey compiled fifteen professional MMA victories with thirteen first-round finishes before earning his black belt at 10th Planet Headquarters in Los Angeles in 2022. The instructional staff also includes former two-time Invicta FC world champion and UFC fighter Jinh Yu Frey, who began her combat sports training in 2008. Class programming includes kids jiu-jitsu for ages 7 to 13, beginner fundamentals, and mixed-level no-gi grappling. The schedule also features dedicated leg-lock instruction, kickboxing, advanced 10 Round Tuesday training, and weekend open mat sessions, offered through flexible monthly memberships without mandatory contracts.
