Located at 10854 Pelicano Dr on the east side of El Paso, Texas, 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu El Paso operates as an official affiliate of Eddie Bravo's no-gi martial arts system. The training facility was originally founded in 2009 by 10th Planet black belt Master Victor Davila. The academy is directed by owner and moon head Cristobal "El Mosquito" Chavez, who began his jiu-jitsu training in 2008 and earned his black belt in 2016 under Davila and Bravo. Chavez has competed professionally in promotions including King of the Cage and Combate Americas, while Coach Sammy leads fundamentals and Coach JD coaches morning and youth programs. The gym houses over 3,200 square feet of mat space equipped with striking bags and grappling gear. The curriculum delivers specialized instruction in no-gi jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, Muy Thai, and mixed martial arts, catering to beginners alongside competitive athletes preparing for tournament match play.
