10th Planet Long Beach is a no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 1757 Pacific Ave. in Long Beach, California. The school offers specialized submission grappling and strength conditioning designed for students ranging from beginners to competitive practitioners. The academy was founded in 2016 by owner and head coach Chai Sirisute, a third-degree black belt under Eddie Bravo and Rigan Machado. After a fire during the 2020 protests, the academy rebuilt and reopened in 2022, describing itself as a supportive community offering training in jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and strength and conditioning. Instruction covers structured no-gi martial arts, emphasizing positional control, joint locks, chokes, and defensive movement without reliance on a traditional gi. Classes cater to all experience levels from white belt to black belt, integrating cardiovascular conditioning and functional athletic strength.
