10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Van Nuys

10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Van Nuys is located at 16525 Sherman Way Ste C-9 in Van Nuys, California. The academy provides instruction focused on the 10th Planet no-gi submission grappling system alongside striking classes in Muay Thai and dedicated youth martial arts programs. Head coach Alder is a 10th Planet black belt with more than a decade of mat experience who oversees the advanced grappling curriculum and mentors the coaching staff. Coach Christopher Rivas directs the all-levels Muay Thai program, bringing extensive striking background to each session. The teaching roster also includes instructors Christian Madamba, Omar Contreras, John Salami, Josiah Torres, and Ryan Bradford, who each contribute specialized instruction in grappling fundamentals and scrambles. Students can participate in adult no-gi jiu-jitsu, small group introductory classes, and striking sessions. Youth programs feature Little Rollers for children ages 5 to 8 and Youth Warriors for ages 9 to 12. Members also have access to an onsite weight room for conditioning.
