10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Ventura

10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Ventura is a dedicated martial arts academy located at 1540 E Main St in Ventura, California. The school operates as an official Eddie Bravo affiliate providing submission grappling training for both adults and children. Instruction is headed by Scott Ross, a third-degree black belt under Eddie Bravo. The coaching staff features second-degree black belt Matthew Dempsey, who earned his black belt in 2019 after training at 10th Planet headquarters for a decade, alongside brown belt coach Greg, wrestling coach Nick, and purple belts Damien and Dominick. Training focuses on the four core pillars of the 10th Planet grappling system, including the lockdown half-guard, the rubber guard, truck transitions, and lower-body leg locks. Classes accommodate beginners learning fundamentals up to advanced students participating in positional rounds and shark tank drilling.
