10th Planet San Diego is a martial arts and athletic conditioning center located at 6008 Mission Gorge Rd in San Diego, California. The academy serves as the primary home of the 10th Planet Freaks grappling team, offering no-gi Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. Grappling instruction is coached by black belts Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez and Geo "Freakahzoid" Martinez. The wider coaching staff features mixed martial arts coach Manolo Hernandez and head boxing and striking coach Joshua, who lead technical striking and mixed discipline development. Class schedules operate throughout the morning, daytime, and evening, offering no-gi Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, striking, and dedicated strength and conditioning. Youth programs deliver jiu-jitsu and striking fundamentals, while specialized tactical coursework is provided through the Off the X Tactics program.
