313 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy operates at 4884 Grand River Avenue, 2nd Floor, Detroit, MI 48208 USA. The academy is situated on the southeast corner of Grand River and Warren Ave, above Bev’s Bagels. The school was founded in 2015 by Fabio Lima and Zander Heinen with permission from Marcelo Garcia, establishing the Marcelo Garcia Jiu-Jitsu Academy Association in Michigan. In 2023, Zach Mabey and Steve Pauley became instructors and assumed management. The coaching team includes Juan Zavala, Jesse Lowe, and Byron Barnard. Training programs encompass Fundamental BJJ, Advanced BJJ, No Gi, Drilling, Open Mat sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and a Kid’s Program for ages 5-13. Membership pricing features adult options at $170 per month for 12 months or $200 month-to-month, alongside a drop-in class fee of $25 per day.
