805 MMA is a combat sports training facility located on East Avenida De Los Arboles in Thousand Oaks, California. Co-owned by Martin Gillitt and Julian Baez, the academy provides daily instruction in mixed martial arts, traditional boxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu led by experienced competitors and coaches. The gym brings together instruction across striking, wrestling, and submission arts. Co-owner Martin Gillitt is an amateur boxer with ring experience in England, Sweden, and the United States, and serves as an active CSAC inspector. Julian Baez contributes professional boxing and mixed martial arts background, having trained under Bas Rutten and Carlo Deckers. Brazilian jiu-jitsu instruction is supported by fourth-degree black belt Jamie Walsh, an experienced martial artist who trained under Jean Jacques Machado, alongside kids instructor Cameron Metcalf. Programs serve students beginning at age four and extend through adult novice, intermediate, and fight-team levels. The facility offers group combat sports classes alongside private one-on-one coaching and Capoeira instruction led by Andy Gomez.
