A-Team Jiu-Jitsu is located on Garden Grove Boulevard in Garden Grove, California, providing instruction in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, light striking, and mixed martial arts. Founded and led by Master Ali Saleh, the academy has been operating for over sixteen years and serves students ranging from youth beginners to active tournament competitors. Master Ali began his martial arts training in 1997 and is the highest ranking American black belt under Leandro Vieira of Checkmat. The coaching roster includes head coach CJ Herrera, a black belt under Master Ali who has trained at the academy since 2009, junior coach Luis Castillo, and Coach Angelo, a black belt and experienced tournament competitor holding medals from IBJJF and SJJIF championships. The curriculum provides structured gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu programs for children, teens, and adults, alongside dedicated light striking classes. Training emphasizes technical drilling and competitive preparation in a family-friendly environment, supported by group classes, family memberships, and private lessons.
