Academy of Martial Arts

Academy of Martial Arts operates at 7315 South Shields Blvd. in Oklahoma City, OK 73149. Established in 2004, the school provides combat sports and martial arts instruction for competitors and individuals looking to stay in shape. The gym is a member of the Renato Tavares Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association. Instruction is provided under Head AMA Coach Kentrick Coleman, who is a certified Thai Boxing Association instructor under Arjan Parker and Grandmaster Chai Sirisute. Class programs include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), NO- GI BJJ, Muay Thai Boxing, Co-Ed BJJ, Womens BJJ, and Kids Self Defense. Youth Classes (Mixed Martial Arts) are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45pm-6.45pm for students 5-17 years of age. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm, while NO- GI BJJ meets Monday and Wednesday from 6:30pm- 8:15pm.
