Action Reaction Jiu Jitsu Academy

Action Reaction Jiu Jitsu Academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for youth and adult practitioners in Richmond, Virginia. The academy follows traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu methodology designed to accommodate both beginner students and experienced martial artists. Classes are instructed by Professor Flavio Kenup, a fourth-degree black belt who brings nearly 30 years of training and teaching experience across multiple continents. Kenup has earned major competitive titles at the Grand Slam London and Abu Dhabi World Championship, while coach Doug and operations manager Wendy assist with the kids curriculum. The academy offers a Beginners and Fundamentals class for newcomers starting their jiu jitsu training, alongside specialized Little Champion classes for children ages 5 and 6. Drop-in students from out of town or other academies are welcome to attend sessions for a set fee of $35 after completing registration.
