Aikido Miramar

Aikido Miramar is a dedicated Japanese martial arts dojo located at 16801 Miramar Parkway in Miramar, Florida. The school is led by Sensei Emmanuel Herzog, a certified 6th Dan black belt Shihan with over forty years of practice and more than thirty years of teaching experience. The instructional team also features Sensei Isabel De La Vega, a 4th Dan black belt instructor, and Sensei Ricardo Manzo, a certified 3rd Dan black belt. Training centers on the traditional discipline of Aikido, a modern Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba. The curriculum emphasizes blending movements, joint locks, throws, and defensive positioning without relying on brute physical force. Classes provide instruction in traditional fundamentals, etiquette, partner coordination, and joyful practice for students across all experience levels. The weekly timetable provides dedicated sessions for both youth and adult practitioners. Kids Aikido classes take place on Tuesday & Thursday, followed by adult evening sessions, with free parking provided at Miramar Regional Park.
