Aikido San Marcos

Aikido San Marcos, operating under Hidden Valley Aiki Kai, is a traditional Japanese martial arts dojo located at 388 Enterprise Street, #106, in San Marcos, California. The dojo teaches classical Aikido, emphasizing peaceful conflict resolution, body movement, and balance for students of all ages. The school is led by President Mike Gallo, a seventh dan black belt, and Dojo Cho Villa Sensei, a fifth dan black belt holding certification from the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan. The instructional team also features certified assistant instructors holding Shodan and Nidan ranks. Instruction focuses on the non-violent principles of Aikido, teaching students to neutralize and harmonize with force rather than opposing it with aggression. The timetable offers family-friendly classes, with dedicated programs for children ages 7 to 12, youth ages 13 to 18, and adult classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
