Alive Jiu Jitsu

Alive Jiu Jitsu provides martial arts education and submission grappling training at 500 Southwest Blvd in the Crossroads district of Kansas City, Missouri. The academy operates as a no-gi first training center, teaching submission grappling and self-defense mechanics designed to function under live resistance for beginners, hobbyists, and experienced practitioners. The instructional program is directed by head coach Justin Fabac, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over fifteen years of grappling and competition experience. Training is structured around a constraints-led coaching framework, engaging students in live situational drills that build adaptable attributes and technical control. Course offerings encompass adult no-gi and gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission 101 introductory fundamentals, Wrestling for Jiu Jitsu, combined striking classes integrating boxing and Muay Thai, women's jiu-jitsu sessions, youth classes for children ages 4 and up, and weekend open mat training.
