AMA Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai operates at 8 East Frederick Place in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Founded in the summer of 2004 by owner Michael Vincent Constantino, the training facility represents a cornerstone of combat sports in Morris County for two decades. The academy is led by head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Jonathan Helwig, alongside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Carl Agnelli, no-gi fundamentals instructor Sebastian Restrepo, Muay Thai and MMA coaches Ernesto McRae and Corey Peirone, and youth jiu-jitsu coaches Morgan Bowen and Marc McGrath. The training facility delivers diverse combat sports coursework for students of all experience levels. Grappling programs include gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and no-gi fundamentals, instructing students in positional hierarchy, guard transitions, escapes, and submission locks. Striking classes provide technical Muay Thai kickboxing, teaching heavy bag drills, pad rounds, and defensive movement. The academy also offers high-energy cardio kickboxing sessions, competitive mixed martial arts training, and youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.
