Ararat Martial Arts & Fitness Center provides combat sports and martial arts instruction at 4509 Taylor Lane in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Founded in 2016, the academy operates within a 5,000-square-foot facility equipped with 1,700 square feet of Dollamur matting. The academy was established by owner and head instructor Ghazaros Grigoryan, a Godan fifth-degree black belt. Technical coaching is supported by instructor Michael Mooney, also a Godan fifth-degree black belt, alongside mentor instructor Elyor Serikbaev and staff black belts Vlad Linetsky and Glenn Rini. Coursework spans adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for women, adult judo, and wrestling. Youth classes are organized for children ages 4 to 12, featuring kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, youth wrestling, and judo self-defense. Training focuses on throws, unbalancing opponents, positional ground control, chokes, and joint locks. Prospective practitioners can begin by attending a free trial class.
