Ascend Jiu Jitsu Academy

Ascend Jiu Jitsu Academy provides martial arts instruction at 2303 Woodbridge Av in Edison, New Jersey. The academy serves children, teenagers, and adult students from Edison and nearby communities with training programs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Instruction is directed by Professor Matheus Diniz and Professor Bill Loftus. Diniz is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Marcelo Garcia, an IBJJF World Champion, and an ADCC World Champion. Loftus has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 30 years, holds the rank of 4th-degree black belt, and has earned titles as an IBJJF World Champion, Pan American Champion, and European Champion. The academy offers classes for beginners and fundamentals practitioners alongside advanced sessions, dedicated kids and teens training, and private lessons. New students can schedule two free trial classes to experience the academy's training environment and learn foundational grappling techniques.
