Be Jiu Jitsu operates at 113 Clinton Street in Lafayette, Louisiana. Located near Jefferson Street in downtown Lafayette, the martial arts school provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, submission grappling, and youth developmental programs for practitioners across the Lafayette community. Instruction at the academy is headed by third-degree black belt John Jordan alongside black belt coach Julian Smith and coach Coda Munson. Mat training guides practitioners through foundational ground control, guard retention, positional advancements, and submission mechanics. The coaching staff maintains a structured training atmosphere prioritizing technical precision, partner safety, and progressive skill building. The academy provides class schedules for both gi and no-gi practitioners. Youth coursework is organized into age groupings, featuring Kids Jiu Jitsu classes for ages 4 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9, and 10 and older, as well as a youth competition class for ages 8 and up. Adult students train through all-levels grappling sessions and open mat sparring.
