BEDROC MMA is located at 10 Mt. Read Blvd in Rochester, NY 14611. The academy provides instruction in Kodokan Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Classical Japanese Jujitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing. The school is run by owner and head instructor John Farrar Sr. Its staff includes John Farrar Jr., a certified black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, and Carlos Valdes, a certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who teaches beginner and advanced BJJ classes. BEDROC offers scheduled classes and open-mat periods where students can practice, improve, or get live action. Programs include beginner and advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, youth and adult judo, and striking classes drawing on Thai boxing, traditional boxing, and Muay Thai. Sensei D’Jay is the chief instructor for the youth and adult judo programs, assisted by Jenn, a Kodokan Judo black belt.
