Bismarck ATA Martial Arts

Bismarck ATA Martial Arts operates at 208 East Greenfield Lane, Suite 100, in Bismarck, North Dakota. The academy features a 3,000-square-foot main training area equipped with ten-foot ceilings, Zebra mats, and climate-controlled rooms. Spectators and family members can view training sessions from open parent seating areas. Chief instructor and owner Erik Powell directs all curriculum at the facility. A 5th Degree Black Belt, Powell began his training with ATA Martial Arts in 1995 and earned his black belt in 1998 before opening the school to serve the local Bismarck community. Instruction focuses on Songahm Taekwondo, guiding students through a structured ten-belt progression from white belt to black belt. Programs at the academy include ATA Tigers, Karate for Kids, Adult Martial Arts, ATA Legacy, Leadership Life Training, and seasonal summer camps. The school prepares competitors for local district events, state tournaments, the Spring National competition in Las Vegas, and the ATA World Expo Tournament in Little Rock. Complimentary introductory trial lessons are available for prospective students.
