Black Arrow Family Martial Arts operates at 217 Washington Street in Brainerd, Minnesota. The academy provides Jiu-Jitsu instruction to the Brainerd Lakes Area, emphasizing proper technique and leverage to protect against opponents regardless of size. Instruction is provided by a team of black belt instructors led by Professor Jared Feierabend. Holding a 5th Degree Black Belt, Feierabend was awarded his black belt in 2006 by Sensei Dave Camarillo. The coaching staff also includes Professor Kyle Matuszak, a 2nd Degree Black Belt who began training in 2010, alongside Professor Aidan Muller, a 2nd Degree Black Belt who was awarded his black belt in 2019. The academy provides training sessions throughout the week for practitioners of different ages and abilities. Operating hours include Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
