Black Cat Jiu Jitsu

Black Cat Jiu Jitsu is situated at 8001 Forbes Pl Suite 320 in Springfield, Virginia. Established in 2022, the academy provides specialized grappling instruction designed to serve beginners, recreational practitioners, and active tournament athletes. The academy was founded by black belt Adam Benayoun, an active competitor at major international events. The instructional staff includes head wrestling coach Frank Martellotti, a three-time NCAA team national champion at Penn State and IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, alongside black belt competitor Ryan. Class offerings feature an Intro to Jiu Jitsu program covering basic positions and etiquette, mixed-level gi and no-gi sessions, and women-only classes. The school also runs youth jiu jitsu for ages 8 to 13, dedicated wrestling classes for grapplers, and marathon roll open sessions.
