Black Tie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai Bonita Springs operates at 3525 Bonita Beach Road Southwest in Bonita Springs, Florida. The school serves martial arts practitioners across Bonita Springs and Southwest Florida, operating as part of the Black Tie training network. The academy was established and is directed by Head Instructor Corey Brown, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo brown belt who began wrestling at age 11. Brown's lineage traces from Mitsuyo Maeda and Rickson Gracie through Jorge Pereira, Leo Dalla, and Chad Lebrun. A veteran competitor, Brown has earned titles including 3-time IBJJF Pan American Champion and ADCC Open Champion Pro, opening the Bonita Springs academy in 2018. Coaching is supported by brown belt C.J. Muxo, who has practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. Training programs feature adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, ladies beginner classes, youth martial arts, and Muay Thai kickboxing. Instruction focuses on positional control, takedowns, guard passing, and submission mechanics.
