Bowerhouse MMA

Bowerhouse MMA is a martial arts and combat sports facility located at 7311 Grove Rd Unit D in Frederick, Maryland. The academy provides structured programs in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, and athletic conditioning, serving youth and adult athletes across Frederick. The academy is founded and directed by owner Chris Bower, a third-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. Ground training is supported by fifth-degree black belt instructor Vicente Junior, first-degree black belt Jeff Wright, and instructor Terry Bartholomew. Youth classes are headed by Colin Bower and assistant instructor Noah Kiszka, while Ann Dempsey leads the women's Brazilian jiu-jitsu program and John Stone directs boxing instruction. Adult programs feature Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in gi and no-gi formats, Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Boxing, Boxing Mittwork, and Women's Only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Youth students train through Kids Martial Arts and Kids Boxing, where drills emphasize athletic fundamentals, bully prevention, and physical fitness in an organized group setting.
