Brazil 021 BJJ - Jiu-Jitsu in Chicago operates on the second floor at 2643 W Chicago Ave in Chicago, Illinois. The academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for youth and adult practitioners across Chicago's North and West Side neighborhoods. The school is led by co-founder Professor Andre Terencio, a fifth-degree black belt who earned gold at the 2018 IBJJF Boston Open in the Master 3 black belt division, and Professor Hannette Staack, a fifth-degree black belt and seven-time IBJJF world champion. Instruction is supported by Professor Sharon Gosun, Professor Vinicius Pereira, and Professor John Thompson. Training emphasizes guard work, sweeps, positional transitions, self-defense mechanics, and live sparring. The academy organizes structured programs across all age brackets. Youth instruction includes Kids Class 1 (3–6), Kids Class 2 (7–12), a Kids Summer Program, and a Kids After School Program. Adult tracks include fundamentals, advanced gi, no-gi grappling, and tailored tactical training for law enforcement personnel.
