BRCJJ Martial Arts is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 935 N Beneva Rd #703 in Sarasota, Florida. Instruction is directed by coach Bruno Canto, a black belt with twenty-five years of jiu-jitsu experience who coached for the UFC, the local Army in Dubai, and the U.S. Army. The instructional team also features black belt coach Bruno Canto Junior and instructor Fabiane Silveira. The academy provides age-specific training programs designed to support progressive development on the mats. Classes include Kid's Jiu-Jitsu for ages 4 to 12 emphasizing motor coordination and values, Fundamentals for teens aged 13 to 17, and Intermediate & Advanced sessions for adults aged 18 to 40. Training concentrates on practical self-defense, ground control, joint locks, sweeps, and overall physical conditioning. Classes run on a weekly schedule supporting beginners as well as active competition athletes. Prospective students can book a free trial class online to tour the Sarasota academy and train on the mats.
