Buckhead Jiu-Jitsu

Buckhead Jiu-Jitsu provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction and grappling education at 2144 Hills Ave NW in Atlanta, Georgia. The martial arts academy provides a positive training atmosphere for adult practitioners and youth students across the greater Atlanta area. The facility encompasses 3,300 square feet overall with 2,000 square feet of dedicated mat space, complete with men's and women's changing rooms and a lounge seating area. The academy is owned and directed by head instructor Sam Joseph, a 5th Degree Black Belt who leads daily curriculum development and instruction on the mats. The instructional staff also includes coaches Derek Kaivani, Daren Roberts, Kenneth Yeung, Whit Lanier, Kennith Jackson, Stuart Freeman, Taylor Reed, Joe Vo, Matt Shand, and Grant Jones, offering technical guidance across multiple weekly classes. Course offerings feature Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Submission Grappling. Training sessions emphasize positional control, escapes, guard transitions, and submission mechanics, complemented by an obligation-free trial that allows prospective students to experience academy classes firsthand.
