Bueno Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Bueno Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 6006 4th St Suite 110 in Lubbock, Texas. The martial arts school provides gi and no-gi grappling instruction for children, teenagers, and adult practitioners across all skill levels. Instruction is led by owner and head instructor Douglas Bueno, who directs classes alongside coaching staff members Johnny Rodriquez and Jacob Cerda. Class offerings include Traditional Gi Mixed Levels, combining fundamental technique instruction, self-defense applications, and sparring. The curriculum also features No-Gi Jiu Jitsu, which utilizes shorts and rash guards to simulate realistic physical altercations without the grips of a traditional kimono. Youth practitioners are divided into Cubs and Lions age divisions, developing body balance, physical coordination, self-control, and discipline through structured technique drills. New students can register for a free one-week trial to experience the gym's programs.
