Bushido MMA and BJJ Academy is a combat sports training facility located at 11501 Rojas Dr. Suite F in El Paso, Texas. The gym offers instruction in mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the Machado Method, boxing, and youth martial arts. Head MMA instructor Hugo Sida is a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who holds a professional MMA record of 15-2. He earned black belt rank in Ninjitsu under Shihan Jorge Nieto and advanced his Jiu-Jitsu rank under Professor Manolo Hernandez and the Carlos Valente Association. The coaching team also features lead youth instructor Sonny Perez, assistant instructor Luis Solis, and BJJ head instructor Coach Rick. Class schedules accommodate practitioners starting at age four through programs such as Tiny Warriors, Little Warriors, and youth advanced MMA. Adult programs incorporate gi and no-gi grappling, wrestling takedowns, and fighter training sessions. Prospective members can attend a free trial class.
