Cadejo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

Cadejo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts school situated at 708 Chaparral St. in Laredo, Texas. Operating as an affiliate of the Ares BJJ Association, the academy delivers structured grappling and ground combat education for youth and adult practitioners. Instruction is structured across fundamental and adult training sessions. The fundamentals curriculum covers practical self-defense techniques, takedowns, positional control, positional escapes, and submission holds. Adult sessions run for one hour and fifteen minutes, consisting of martial arts warm-ups, position-specific drilling, and rolling rounds designed for both recreational fitness and tournament competition. Youth classes are organized into two distinct age groups: ages 5 to 9 and ages 10 to 15. The kids curriculum focuses on building athletic coordination, focus, self-confidence, and mat discipline in a positive team setting.
