Carlson Gracie Miami is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training center situated at 4033 SW 152nd Ave in Miami, Florida. Operating under the lineage of the Carlson Gracie team, the academy delivers martial arts and athletic conditioning classes tailored for students of various experience levels. Prospective members can visit the academy in person or contact staff online to arrange a free introductory session. The instructional team is headed by program director Michel Porfirio Pereira, an IBJJF-certified 6th-degree black belt. Daily classes are conducted alongside head professor Jose Pita, a 2nd-degree black belt who oversees strength training, youth professor Marco Prado, and women's professor Marcia Palomba. Programming spans Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training modules for adults, teens, and youth practitioners, supplemented by dedicated women's sessions. Teen students are also invited to join Saturday adult Open Mat sessions to support their transition into adult grappling. In addition, the school provides one-on-one private lessons and a specialized fitness program blending strength work, conditioning drills, and interval training.
