Carlson Gracie NKY provides martial arts training and combat athletics at 818 Monmouth St in Newport, Kentucky. Representing the Carlson Gracie Team, the academy conducts classes for practitioners throughout Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area. The school is headed by Professor Aaron Thomas, a Carlson Gracie black belt with over ten years of coaching experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts. Head judo coach Andy Bosiljevac holds a 4th degree black belt in Judo, a BJJ brown belt, and collegiate wrestling background. The coaching staff also includes brown belts Steven "Squirrel" Hilton and Matt Rudolph, striking instructor Casey Hall, Little Bulldogs coach Tommy Graves, and women's program leader Julia Durstock. Curriculum options include gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai, MMA, and Little Bulldogs classes for ages 5 to 12. Prospective students can request a free trial through the academy website.
