Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a martial arts school situated at 401 North Cane Street, Suite A3, in Wahiawa, Hawaii. The academy is owned and operated by instructors Ryan Kauanui and Noel Kauanui, who both hold black belts under Ryron and Rener Gracie. In 2015, the facility became an official Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center authorized to teach curricula developed by Gracie University Headquarters. Instruction prioritizes street self-defense fundamentals before advancing to sport techniques, maintaining cooperative beginner training without competitive sparring for the first eight to twelve months. Class offerings are divided into structured programs, including Gracie Bullyproof for children ages 3 to 14, Women Empowered self-defense, Gracie Combatives for foundational adult training, and Master Cycle for advanced practitioners. Enrolled students receive complimentary access to Gracie University Online video lessons and satellite training privileges at Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Centers worldwide. The academy also offers a ten-day trial for newcomers.
