Cies MMA operates at 2360 Montebello Sq, Suite C, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The mixed martial arts academy provides combat sports instruction for recreational practitioners and competitive combat athletes. Training programs encompass Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, striking, and youth combat sports. The gym is owned and operated by Mike Ciesnolevicz and Barb Ciesnolevicz. Mike is a UFC veteran holding a professional MMA record of 20-4-1 who earned his BJJ black belt under Master Sergio Penha in 2015, alongside a black belt in the Miletich Fighting System under Pat Miletich. Barb holds a BJJ black belt, compiled a 3-1 professional MMA record, won titles with the IBJJF, and serves as program director. Instruction focuses on gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ground mechanics, positional transitions, joint locks, wrestling takedowns, and striking combinations.
