Situated at 14800 Camden Ave. in San Jose, California, Claudio França Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu delivers martial arts training and combat sports conditioning. The academy features an expansive 18,000-square-foot facility serving children, adolescents, and adults throughout San Jose and neighboring areas. The school is operated by owner and professor Erik Benaquisto, who began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in 1999 and brings background in kickboxing and mixed martial arts. Instruction centers on technical ground control, pressure passing, defensive reversals, and submission holds taught through systematic drills, circuit conditioning, and supervised sparring. Programs include beginner classes for youth ages 4 to 7, striking cohorts for ages 8 to 15, and adult grappling and kickboxing sessions. Prospective students can take advantage of a free first class to experience instruction firsthand before registering.
