Colorado Victory MMA

Colorado Victory MMA delivers martial arts training and combat athletics at 254 S Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 2009 by professional fighter Gilbert Smith Jr., the veteran-owned academy serves youth, adult practitioners, and military service members throughout Colorado Springs. Head coach Gilbert Smith Jr. served active duty in the United States Army for six and a half years before working at Camp Victory in Iraq, where he voluntarily trained personnel and formed Victory Top Team. Smith studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Marcelo Garcia and earned a first-degree black belt under Iako Kalili through the IBJJF. A veteran of Bellator, the UFC, and two seasons of The Ultimate Fighter, Smith won the 2015 RFA welterweight title and holds Muay Thai coaching certification under Master Toddy. The 15,000-square-foot facility features a 24x24 MMA cage, a 20x20 boxing ring, and 20 punching bags. Programs include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, wrestling, Muay Thai kickboxing, and boxing, supported by a seven-day trial week.
