Combatives Unlimited

Combatives Unlimited provides specialized combat sports training and realistic self-defense education at 2611 Old Middleburg Rd N, Suite 401, in Jacksonville, Florida. Established in 1994, the studio is dedicated to teaching integrated close-quarters combatives, grappling mechanics, and functional striking to youth and adult students seeking technical proficiency and mental discipline. The academy was founded and is directed by head instructor Juan Roberto Perez, who holds full instructor credentials including a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Combat Submission BJJ, coach certification in Combat Submission Wrestling, coach certification in STX Kickboxing, and Kru instructor status in Muay Thai. The instructional staff includes director and instructor Stephanie, an associate instructor in Jun Fan Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do Concepts, Kali, and Silat, as well as a CSW coach and Muay Thai Kru. Coursework includes integrated MMA Kickboxing combining Jun Fan Gung Fu, Muay Thai, Kali/Escrima, and STX Kickboxing, along with Combat Submission Wrestling and BJJ ground grappling. Youth programs provide age-appropriate training in JKD/STX and CSW/BJJ. New participants can begin training through a complimentary introductory session.
