Connecticut Submission Grappling

Connecticut Submission Grappling operates at 114 River Street (upstairs), Bridgeport, CT 06604. It functions as the only academy in Connecticut dedicated exclusively to No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, delivering 100% live training where students train in rash guard and shorts. Instruction is led by coach Ryan Moutinho, a Brown Belt who trained from white through purple belt under Eddie Bravo at 10th Planet HQ in Los Angeles. Coaching incorporates the constraints-led approach, collaborating with a community of forward-thinking coaches, led by Greg Souders. The weekly schedule provides Beginner Foundations classes designed for students with 0–2 years experience, alongside All Levels No-Gi sessions scheduled at 12:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. Athletes can also attend Comp Team training for Competitors, weekend Open Mat rounds, and one-on-one Private Training.
