Coral Springs Silver Fox Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy delivers ground fighting instruction and combat athletics at 9750 West Sample Road in Coral Springs, Florida. Operating as part of the Silver Fox BJJ affiliation originating in New Jersey, the academy conducts martial arts classes for youth, teens, and adults throughout Coral Springs and the surrounding area. Instruction is headed by Professor Juan Galarza, a 1st Degree BJJ Black Belt who began training in 2009 and studied under Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec starting in 2012. Galarza brings collegiate wrestling experience and competitive grappling credentials, including an IBJJF Pan Ams bronze medal and a Men of War superfight victory, to his coaching duties for both recreational members and the academy competition team. Programs feature adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi and no-gi formats, kids BJJ, and MMA kickboxing. Training covers takedowns, positional submissions, and striking fundamentals, with complimentary introductory trial classes available.
