Cosens Martial Arts Mt. Pleasant LLC is a martial arts academy located at 2206 S Mission St in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Founded in 2009 by Coach Charlie Cosens, the organization has expanded to deliver structured combat sports education and character-building instruction to children, teens, and adults across central Michigan. The academy structures its curriculum into age-specific developmental tiers so that training aligns with student maturity. Early learners begin with Tiny Ninjas for ages three to four, focusing on listening and coordination, followed by high-energy Little Ninjas classes for ages five to seven. Students ages eight to twelve participate in the Junior Martial Arts program, while participants aged thirteen and older train in adult martial arts incorporating practical self-defense, striking combinations, and functional fitness.
