Daniel Perez Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Daniel Perez Jiu Jitsu Academy operates a martial arts training facility located at 9953 SW 142 Ave in Miami, Florida. Affiliated with the Demian Maia Jiu-Jitsu association, the school provides structured grappling instruction designed to cultivate practical self-defense skills, discipline, and physical fitness. Instruction is overseen by Professor Daniel Perez, the first American to receive a black belt from 5x Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and ADCC champion Demian Maia, at what the site calls South Florida's only Demian Maia affiliated academy. The academy provides a balanced weekly training schedule comprising both traditional gi and no-gi grappling formats. No-gi instruction is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and a Saturday no-gi open mat from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM is open to the public.
