Dark Horse Combat Club

Dark Horse Combat Club delivers martial arts training and combat sports education at 950 Santa Fe Dr in Denver, Colorado. The central Denver training facility conducts programs across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and self-defense for adults and youth. Owner and head instructor Andrew "The Dude" Dudderar is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Amal Easton. Dudderar began training in 1999 under Rafael Lovato Sr., studied under Easton starting in 2001, and moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to train for two years, earning his brown belt from Carlos Gracie Jr. Dudderar earned third place at the 2012 Master's World Championships at black belt. The coaching team includes general manager Phillip Tearse, who began training in 2016 in Oakland and received his blue belt from Adam Lowry. Class offerings encompass adult gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, women's jiu-jitsu and self-defense sessions, and kids martial arts. The academy accommodates traveling practitioners with day mat fees, rental uniforms, and shower facilities.
