Delaware Dragon Martial Arts operates a combat sports and self-defense training facility at 106 Louviers Drive in Newark, Delaware. The academy provides structured martial arts instruction for children, youths, and adult practitioners across the Newark area. Instruction is led by senior coach Sean Riley, who began training at age 3 and holds a 6th Degree Black Belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do alongside 1st degree Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Aikido, and Arnis. The teaching roster includes instructor Rebecca Evans, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, wrestling coach Eustace Jacobs-Beazer, instructor Lawrence Walther with over 33 years of martial arts experience, and assistant coach Ethyan Cornejo. Academy coursework encompasses gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, traditional martial arts for students ages 8 and older, and age-specific youth programs. Training focuses on takedown mechanics, joint submissions, striking combinations, and defensive positional control.
