DiamondHeart Striking and Grappling/PCC delivers martial arts training and athletic conditioning at 67 Ingraham St in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Established in 2015, the two-floor, 8,000-square-foot facility provides combat sports instruction for youth and adult practitioners across Brooklyn. The gym was founded by Head Coach Gavin Van Vlack, a martial arts instructor with over two decades of coaching background who holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt under Josh Griffiths of Clockwork Jiu-Jitsu and a Kru certification under Master Cheetah Chanthanao. The grappling curriculum is directed by Paloma Schultz, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 3rd Degree Black Belt from Brazil with more than 12 years of teaching experience. The striking program is guided by Head Muay Thai Coach Jesse Bogorad and professional fighter Alex Munro. Academy programming spans adult gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on a full-level grappling floor, traditional Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling lab, and Little Diamonds youth classes. Prospective students can register for a seven-day complimentary trial.
