Division One Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts academy located at 2780 FM 1463, Suite 204, in Katy, Texas. Established in 2022, the academy operates under the leadership of head coach Professor Marcus Bello and maintains an official affiliation with GFTeam (Grappling Fight Team). Professor Marcus Bello brings extensive competitive grappling experience to the mats, having won two IBJJF World Championship titles in 2016 and 2021, three IBJJF Pan American titles, and two CBJJO World Cup championships. Jiu-Jitsu instruction emphasizes fundamental principles of leverage, timing, angles, and human anatomy to control opponents on the mat. Class programming spans Baby classes for ages three to five, Kids classes for ages six to eight, Junior classes for ages nine to fourteen, Adult classes for practitioners aged fifteen and older, No-Gi grappling, competition training, and Judo takedown sessions. Prospective students can book a free trial class.
