ED RAMOS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Ed Ramos Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts school located at 10921 East Freeway Frontage Road in Houston, Texas. Operating since 2000, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, cardio kickboxing, and self-defense instruction for youth and adult practitioners. The school is led by Professor Eduardo Ramos da Silva, known as 'Ed Ramos', a 4th Degree Black Belt, IBJJF-certified coach, and decorated competitor who earned black belt rank under Atos Jiu-Jitsu co-founder Ramon Lemos. The instructional staff also features black belts Brian Dobbins and David Merino, as well as coach Elisangela Ramos. Training emphasizes technical leverage, sweeps, positional control, and submission holds. The academy offers more than twenty-three classes per week alongside open mat sessions. Programs include Kids Jiu-Jitsu focusing on discipline and teamwork, adult and teen grappling classes, and high-intensity cardio kickboxing workouts.
