Eidson Brazilian Jiu Jitsu delivers martial arts education and grappling instruction at 9926 Carmel Mountain Rd, Suite B in San Diego, California. The academy provides structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and judo training for youth and adult practitioners across the greater San Diego area. Head instructor Andrew Eidson began studying judo in 1992 during junior high school and received black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Sensei Paulo Fernando, advancing to third-degree black belt rank in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Sensei Paulo Fernando began judo training at age four under Shigueto Yamasaki, initiated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1986, received his black belt in 1991, and earned the Sao Paulo State Championship. Instructional offerings encompass structured adult jiu-jitsu and judo classes alongside a Kids Program for children ages 4 and up with age-appropriate classes and a separate Teens Program, with prospective students eligible to register for a complimentary trial session.
