Electric Jiu Jitsu

Situated at 4972 Warner Ave, Suite 103 in Huntington Beach, California, Electric Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts school specialized in the study and practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense. The academy provides instruction for children, youth, and adults throughout the coastal Huntington Beach community. Instruction is provided by Professor Joao Assis, a black belt practitioner with over twenty-five years of teaching experience. The curriculum integrates both gi and no-gi grappling styles, emphasizing movement, timing, situational awareness, takedowns, guard passing, and joint submissions through repetitive technical drills and controlled sparring rounds designed to build functional grappling competence. Class schedules feature daily cohorts for kids, youth, and adult practitioners alongside dedicated women self-defense sessions.
