Emerson Souza Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is situated at 2420 Grand Avenue in Baldwin, NY 11510. Established on Long Island, the school provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for practitioners of all ages and background levels. Training programs include BJJ fundamentals, advanced live rolling sessions, early morning jiu-jitsu classes at 6:00 AM, and Saturday open mat sessions from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Youth martial arts instruction is divided into age-specific classes, featuring little ninjas for ages 5 to 7 and young samurais for ages 8 and older. The academy is owned and run by Emerson "Eminho" Souza, a fifth-degree black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. from the Gracie Barra Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who has been training BJJ since the age of 12.
